Seven Deadly Sins!!!

Well i was being bored in English and i thought i would look up random things on "wikipedia" My friend said look up the Seven Deadly Sins..... So i did and tis is what i got:

"The "Seven Deadly Sins"', also known as the "Capital Vices" or "Cardinal Sins", are a classification of vices that were originally used in early Christian teachings to educate and instruct followers concerning (immoral) fallen man's tendency to sin. The Roman Catholic Church divided sin into two principal categories: "venial", which are relatively minor, and could be forgiven through any sacrament of the Church, and the more severe "capital" or "mortal" sins, which, when committed, destroyed the life of grace, and created the threat of eternal damnation unless either absolved through the sacrament of confession, or otherwise forgiven through perfect contrition on the part of the penitent. Beginning in the early 14th century, the popularity of the Seven deadly sins as a theme among European artists of the time eventually helped to ingrain them in many areas of Christian culture and Christian consciousness in general throughout the world."


Then i came upon a list of the actual Seven Deadly Sins and this is what i found:


1) Luxuria - extravagance, later lust - unrestrained or fantastic excess, as of actions or opinions, and later a passionate or overmastering desire or craving

2) Gula - Gluttony - meaning to gulp down or swallow, the over-indulgence and over-consumption of food, drink, or intoxicants to the point of waste.

3) Avaritia - Greed - selfish excessive or uncontrolled desire for possession or pursuit of money, wealth, food, or other possessions, especially when this denies the same goods to others.

4) Acedia - Sloth - the lack of desire to perform work or expend effort

5) Ira - Wrath - strong, stern, or fierce anger

6) Invidia - Envy - a feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another's advantages, success, possessions, etc

7) Superbia - Pride - a high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind

So they are the Seven Deadly Sins..... After i looked that up.... i decided i would assess my self and of course they say "many interpretations and versions or the Seven Deadly Sins, have tended to portray the consequence for those guilty of committing one or more of these sins as being eternal torment in Hell, rather than possible purification through penance in Purgatory"

So this is my verdict from what i did in just one day:

1) Extravagance - I did sleep in a little that morning...didnt get up until 8.45 when i am supposed to leave for school by 8.40

2) Gluttony - I did skull my fruit box very quickly because i was very late that morning because i woke up at 8.45 when i am supposed to leave for school by 8.40

3) Greed - yeah...im never greedy

4) Sloth - Ok well if you dont know or think i am lazy....... You have never had a full converation with me because i think i say that i am lazy in every subject i converse about..... Like Hmm " I need top go to the toilet but im too lazy!!" I mean i am about to wet myself and i am still too lazy to go...hahahahaha

5) Wrath - I dont remember if i was angry on that day.... but you know

6) Envy - I am never enveous of any body....because i am the best...Bahahah Just joking

7) Pride - I am always proud of my self......except for the fact that i have committed so many deadly sins!! :(

So i am pretty sure that i commited at the LEAST 4 of the seven deadly sins....... IN 1 DAY!!!


I am going to hell for Pride, Gluttony, Extravagance and most importantly LAZINESS!!!!!!!!!
